About us

Re-Act: Refugee Action Scotland was launched in 2015 in response to the growing refugee crisis. Since then, the charity has become an established and integral part of the support network for local refugee communities.

Our work is focussed on welcoming refugees (New Scots) and helping them build their new lives in Scotland.

We organise the collection and distribution of donations and aid items collected throughout Scotland.

Since 2015, we have distributed over 1,500 tonnes of donated goods, including essential welcome packs for children and families.

We run weekly social groups for refugee men, women, and children in Edinburgh, providing much needed community support and engagement year-round.
